Common Glass Problems We Handle
- Fogged Insulated Units (IGUs) When moisture gets between panes, it’s a failed seal. We measure, match, and replace just the glass — not the whole window — and get it done fast.
- Broken Storefront or Entry Glass Whether it’s from impact, thermal stress, or a failed install, we secure the opening, measure correctly, and get the replacement ordered and installed.
- Canopy & Skylight Breaks Overhead glass can crack without warning and creates a serious hazard. We respond quickly, secure the area, and handle all access logistics for safe replacement.
- Frameless Doors with Cracked Corners or Chipped Edges We handle frameless door glass regularly and know how to install it cleanly, aligned, and without pressure on the edges — even in heavy-use entries.
- Sidelites or Interior Glass Cracked Near Hinges or Closers We see this all the time — stress from hardware, door slams, or building movement. We replace the glass and check the hardware to prevent repeat damage.
- Interior Office Sidelites Shattered from Furniture or Carts We replace glass in interior office systems, verify safety glazing, and match finishes to keep everything consistent.
- Old Gasket or Dry-Glaze Systems with Loose Glass We remove the panel, clean out debris, install new gaskets or stops, and properly reset the panel to avoid movement or air/water issues.
- Glazing Tape Dried Out and Glass Shifted in Curtainwall Common in older buildings — we re-center and secure the panel with proper glazing tape, stops, or sealant as needed.
- Non-Tempered Glass in High-Traffic Areas We regularly replace legacy glass with safety-rated glazing in entry doors, bathrooms, classrooms, and anywhere required by code.

When We Install Film:
